Rates & MEDICARE Rebates

The MEDICARE consultation fee is $240 per session.  You will receive $137.05 back from MEDICARE as a Rebate. 

A GP referral & Mental Health Treatment Plan is required to obtain this rebate.

Alternatively, a proportion of your fee may be redeemable from your private health insurance, depending on your health cover.

A Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP 

 gives you up to 10 rebatable sessions per calendar year. 

That means ... 10 sessions are available

 from 01  January- 31 December 

Once you hit the initial six sessions, you can then ask for more if you and your psychologist think you require them.  Head back to your GP to discuss your mental health treatment plan.

You can have a maximum of 10 rebatable sessions in a calendar year.

Typical  Medico-Legal  reports  are  priced  at  $390  (plus  GST)  per  hour. These reports  often  include psychometric measures, such as state, trait or other personality testing

Other  Psychological Assessments, Testing & Reporting,  EAP Programs are charged at APS rates. These rates are recommended  by the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
